Another Fall SMX series is in the books and it seems that each round is more fun than the last. The final round was rescheduled from last week but that did not deter everyone lining up to race one more time in 2014. Merry Christmas to everyone and see you again in 2015!

Round five of the CMC Cactus State is in the books. Another November day that makes the rest of the country envious was the backdrop to the race action at Arizona Cycle Park. If you have been watching the weather back east you could almost feel guilty for racing under the sun in November in Arizona. It was a beautiful day to remind us why we put up with a little heat in the summer. The SMX series is for fun and that is exactly what everyone had today for round three.

It is hard to beat a sunny day in October at Arizona Cycle Park for a motocross race. Round 2 of the SMX series saw two wheels, three wheels, and four wheels along with young kids and the old guys who are still young at heart. Check out the racing action from today!

The Arizona Cycle Park crew was working overtime to get the track ready after all the rains. They did a great job to put together a challenging and fun track for one of the biggest turnouts in a long time. Who doesn’t have fun racing next to a lake?

You could not ask for a better day to conclude the 2014 CMC Copper State Classic series. Double points and double contingencies were some great opportunities to make up some points, or extend a lead. Thanks to all who came out and raced.
