Yep, it was in the 70’s the week leading up to round one of the Spring 2018 Saturday MX race, but it was old man winter making an appearance dropping the temps and amplifying it with the wind. 2018 AMRA Buckeye Hare Scramble – Jan 7 2018
This was probably the most challenging Buckeye Hare Scramble at Arizona Cycle Park to date. The weather was unusually warm for January. Plus, the sand wash was replenished in last fall’s rains which made it soft and deep. Add to the fact we have not had rain for quite a while made the whole off road sections dusty. It truly was a test for man, woman, and machine. Check out the galleries from the four races!

Saturday MX Rd 3– Nov 18 2017
Three down, one to go. The third round of the Fall SMX series literally blew in at Arizona Cycle Park yesterday. It was the cool temps we have dreamed of, but the wind was a bit stiff as the riders made their way around the Vet X track.
