It has been two years since the Monster Energy Supercross series has rolled through the desert and it was worth the wait. Four different winners in the first four rounds in the 450 class meant anything could happen in the Triple Crown format at State Farm Stadium in Glendale AZ. The Monster Energy Supercross triple crown format shakes things up for the riders and offers a new level of entertainment for the fans. Having to qualify for the night show through the timed qualifiers and an LCQ during the day, there is more on the line when the gate drops after the opening ceremonies. The riders have to bring their A game to the gate three times. Add to the fact that State Farm Stadium lays out the longest start straight of the season, three gate drops can be pretty intimidating. Monster Energy Supercross is here! It was media day at State Farm Stadium in Glendale AZ and it was a chance for the press to get their first look at some of the riders and how they would tackle an abbreviated track. Everyone had their media face on and rode with a laid back and loose style. It is a great preview of what will be an epic triple crown event tomorrow.

Glendale SX 2019 – The Top 5
Supercross in a covered football stadium, with the football field moved outside, provides State Farm Stadium to give us the biggest track of the year for round two of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series, a FIM World Championship. The biggest track with the longest start straight has provided some of the best racing the last couple years since the race was moved to Glendale and this year was no different. After last weeks battle with the elements, round two was guaranteed to be held in a perfect environment. Check out who finished in the top five in each class. Dylan Ferrandis topped the 250 class while it was Justin Hill with the quickest lap time for the 450 class. They did not run away with it and everyone was close. A little preview of what is to come tomorrow. The Suzuki teams of JGR and H.E.P. along with the Star Racing Yamaha were out to help spread the word of tomorrow’s event (as if you needed reminding). It was the first time many of them hit the track so it was fun to watch them dial in a couple of looooongggg rhythm sections. Tomorrow is for sure not to disappoint!
